In 1992 Harry Figgie, along with University of Arizona Professor Gerald Swanson, published Bankruptcy 1995, in which they projected that by 1995 interest payments on the national debt would begin to overwhelm our ability to pay that interest. They were wrong. But was their only mistake not titling the book, Bankruptcy 2015?
